A Clover Flex 2 with battery problems defeats the purpose of having a mobile POS. If you're constantly charging or losing power mid-shift, we understand the frustration.
Drain the battery completely until the device shuts off. Then charge it to 100% without interruption. This recalibrates the battery indicator.
Inspect the charging cable and dock for damage. Try a different charging setup if available. Clean the charging contacts with a dry cloth.
High screen brightness is the biggest battery drain. Go to Settings > Display > Brightness and reduce to 50-60%.
Turn off Bluetooth, NFC, and WiFi when not in use. Disable location services and background app refresh to extend battery life.

A healthy Clover Flex 2 battery should last 8-10 hours of normal use. If you're getting significantly less, the battery may be degraded or settings need optimization.
The Flex 2 battery is not user-replaceable. Attempting to open the device will void your warranty. Contact Clover or your merchant services provider for replacement options.
Some warmth is normal, but excessive heat indicates a potential battery or charging system issue. Stop charging if the device becomes uncomfortably hot and contact support.
