If Clover has debited your bank account for charges you didn't authorize or amounts that don't match your agreement, you can dispute these through your bank. ACH disputes work differently than credit card chargebacks, but you still have rights.
Call your bank's fraud or disputes department as soon as you notice unauthorized debits. Time limits apply.
If you want to stop future Clover debits, submit written revocation of ACH authorization to your bank and to Clover.
Document all disputed transactions with dates, amounts, and why they're unauthorized. Compare to your contract terms.
If unauthorized debits continue, you may need to close the account and open a new one to stop the withdrawals.

Submit a written ACH revocation to both your bank and Clover. Keep copies. If debits continue, work with your bank to block them or close the account.
For ACH transactions, you typically have 60 days for unauthorized charges. For authorized charges that are incorrect amounts, the window may be shorter.
Credit card disputes (chargebacks) have stronger consumer protections under the Fair Credit Billing Act. Bank account (ACH) disputes have fewer protections and shorter time windows.
While merchants can report to ChexSystems, disputing legitimate unauthorized charges shouldn't negatively affect you. Keep documentation proving the charges were improper.
